I had a wonderful experience with Tony and his team at Big Ears. I brought several actors from all over the place and we recorded three podcast/radio plays over two days. It was a fantastic pair of days; in part as Tony the Producer and Adrian his Sound Engineer went above and beyond to answer my concerns, offer all of us their hospitality, professionalism and humanity; all of which were so appreciated by the cast and by me (the Writer/Director). It was a smooth, fun and quality experience for all.
They have created a very comfortable and friendly environment for creatives to flourish in, and that is not always a given in the industry, but Tony and Lazz and Adrian clearly recognise the need to have a great platform for people to shine in.
I am coming back in a couple of months for more episode recordings. I whole heartedly recommend ‘Big Ears’.
They had so much patience for the singers to record and rerecord again and again till they were happy with how it sounded.
They didn’t rush us when we went overtime……they were amazing for being so accommodating with our pressured deadline.
They emailed it when they said they would….they fixed up some of the mixing that we didn’t like without charging us or making a big deal about it.
I would definitely use them again.
I engaged big Ears Audio to find the appropriate voice over talent to read my audio book and to edit the recording . Tony was an absolute pleasure to deal with and everything went so smoothly on the day. The editing was completed sooner than expected and I have no hesitation in recommending them. I know I’ll be using Big Ears Audion again.
They were super friendly, professional and accommodating. Tony was great at keeping the lines of communication happening throughout the project and Adrian gave great recommendations on gear to use and optimum mic placement for their space.
Travelling interstate to record can be challenging but from start to finish the Big Ears Audio team made it a pleasure. Thanks guys and I’ll definitely be in touch if I need a space to work in when in Mebourne again.
