Short films are a unique challenge for sound designers and music supervisors. In such a short amount of time, the sound must not only support the story but also help to set the mood and create an immersive experience for the viewer. When Big Ears Audio was approached to work on the sound for “The Decision,” we knew that we would need to be creative in order to meet the challenges of the project. Through careful sound design and music supervision, we were able to craft a soundscape that enhanced the film’s emotion and helped transport the viewer into the world of the story.
